Pressure is the first and most important industrial variable.
Here are some types of pressure.

a) Atmosphere Pressure

b) Absolute Pressure

c) Gauge Pressure

d) Deferential Pressure

e) Vacuum Pressure

a) Atmosphere Pressure

The air around us has weight and this surrounding air on earth exerts a pressure known as the atmospheric pressure. It also known as barometric pressure. and it is measured using a mercury barometer. 

Symbol = atm

atm pressure Ranges in different Units ;

1 atm = 14.7 psi

1 atm = 101.325 kilo pascals

1 atm = 760.00 mmHg

b) Absolute Pressure

Absolute Pressure

The sum of gauge pressure and atmosphere pressure is called absolute pressure. 

Absolute Pressure = Atmosphere Pressure + Gauge Pressure

Mostly Manometer are used for the measurement of Absolute Pressure

c) Gauge Pressure

Air Pressure in Balloons are the Example of Gauge Pressure

Pressure above Atmosphere is called Gauge Pressure. It is the difference between an absolute pressure and atmospheric pressure.

d) Deferential Pressure

The difference between two pressures, p₁ and p₂, is known as the pressure differential,

 Δp = p₁ - p₂

e) Vacuum Pressure

Pressure Less then Atmospheric Pressure is called Vacuum Pressure.

Pvacuum = Patm - Pabs
