A Gas detector measure and indicates the concentration of certain gases and generate an alarm signal. This type of device is important because there are many gases that can be harmful to organic life.Gas detectors can be used to detect Combustible, Toxic and flammable gases.
Normally Two types of gas sensor are used
for measurement of Combustible gases or hydrocarbon.
A. Catalytic sensors
B. Infrared sensors
