Flame Scanner Working

Flame Scanner

Flame Scanner are used for Monitoring Combustion system.

They have two type of Working ;

I. IR ( Infrared )

II. UV ( Ultraviolet )

Working Principle ;

UV Flame Detector sense Ultraviolet Radiation that are produced by Flame.

The Wavelength of 

Ultraviolet Radiation is less then 300nm.

A Photo-tube are used in UV Detector. The Photo-tube is sensitive for Light.

UV Radiation hit Photo-cathode and electrons Release that move toward Anode.

And Output Signal is Generated in Form of Pulse and sent to Detector.
